Regional Championship Tournaments

Pokémon Championship Series events allow trainers to compete against other Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), Video Game (VG), and Pokémon GO players. The best players throughout the season can earn invitations to the Pokémon World Championships!

Regional Championship Tournaments are broken into three divisions, based on the year the competitor was born. For the 2025 Series, this is as follows:

  • Juniors: 2013 or later
  • Seniors: 2009 to 2012
  • Masters: 2008 or earlier

Regional Championship Tournaments at the 2025 Oceania Regional Series: Brisbane will have Pokémon TCG, Video Game Championship (VGC), and Pokémon GO run across all three divisions on Saturday and Sunday. Tournament capacity is limited, and pre-registration is essential.

The Champion in each age division for the Pokémon TCG, VGC, and Pokémon GO will earn a guaranteed invitation to the 2025 Pokémon World Championships, regardless of their Championship Point total at the end of the season. Additional prizes, including prize money and Championship Points, are awarded to the top players in each age division.

Click the link below for a full prizing breakdown for each tournament and division.

Side Events

You can still get in on the action if you are not competing in the main Championship tournament events (or you’ve been knocked out…)! On both event days, there will be a variety of side events that you can participate in, catered to trainers of all levels. Access to these side events is available with any valid event ticket (Competitor or Spectator) and a separate entry fee for each event you wish to register for.

Participating in these events allows you to win various booster packs and prizes!
